The Katie Palmer Project honors Katie’s life and legacy by bringing hope, light, and support to families facing difficult circumstances. Each Christmas season, volunteers come together to create professionally installed holiday light displays at no cost, helping make the season a little brighter for families who need it most.

About Us

The Katie Palmer Project was founded in 2020 to honor the life and legacy of Katie Palmer and to turn an unimaginable loss into something that brings light to others.
What began as a way to support Katie’s family has grown into a community-driven effort dedicated to helping families who are facing difficult circumstances. Each Christmas season, off-duty firefighters, volunteers, and local Christmas light professionals come together to provide and install holiday light displays for selected families at no cost.
Our mission is simple: honor Katie by bringing light, hope, and kindness to others. Through the generosity of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners, the Katie Palmer Project continues to keep her memory alive by making a meaningful difference for families when they need it most.
